Open position
VP Finance
Own EMA Wellness’s accounting and financial operations while building scalable financial processes, controls, and systems as the company grows. This senior role partners closely with the CEO and also oversees HR/benefits administration and legal matters.
Key responsibilities
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close, financial reporting, and core accounting functions.
Partner with the CEO on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
Develop internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable finance systems.
Oversee HR/benefits administration and legal matters with internal and external support.
Manage external accounting, audit, tax, banking, and legal relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Support and strengthen EMA Wellness’s Quality Management processes, ensuring established procedures are followed and documented while driving continuous improvement across quality programs.
Key responsibilities
Manage and support customer and partner audits, including preparation, hosting, follow-up, and audit responses.
Contribute to CAPA, Quality System Deviations, supplier audits, document management, and internal audit programs.
Support regulatory inspections, core product validation, and quality measurement systems.
Support quality and regulatory requests from Sales, Operations, and other departments, including RFP/RFI responses and contract reviews.
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment or other regulated industry.
BS or MS in a related science.
Strong communication, technical, presentation, and cross-functional influencing skills.
Lead the operational engine behind EMA Wellness’s commercial process, with hands-on ownership of proposals, budgets, pricing models, RFP/RFI responses, SOWs, work orders, change orders, CRM, and pipeline reporting.
Key responsibilities
Manage sales lifecycle processes and governance for proposals and change orders.
Develop client-facing budgets, pricing models, proposals, rebids, SOWs, work orders, and change orders.
Own proposal and budget templates, CRM processes, contracting tracking, and commercial KPIs.
Coordinate cross-functionally with Delivery, Clinical, Science, Finance, Product, and Project Management.
Oversee pipeline, wins/losses, financial reporting, and business development operations resources.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with MBA or equivalent and relevant CRO or sponsor-vendor experience.
10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in proposal and pricing/cost budget development.
Experience with financial modeling, KPI analytics, Microsoft Office, and SFDC.
Guide clinical studies from initiation through close-out, coordinating clients, sites, and internal teams while managing timelines, documentation, training, reporting, and implementation of EMA Wellness’s digital data-capture technology.
Key responsibilities
Interface with client representatives and EMA Wellness project teams throughout study delivery.
Support trial management from start-up through close-out, including documentation, audit readiness, and archiving.
Conduct site and user training, including application demonstrations, account/subject registration, device setup, and portal access.
Coordinate project communications, meetings, reporting, site/CRA support, translations, and study documentation.
Support functional teams and mentor Clinical Project Associates as requested.
Qualifications
Degree in a related field of study.
Two years of relevant industry experience or equivalent.
Working knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA, and applicable healthcare regulations preferred.
Strong written/verbal communication and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Support day-to-day clinical trial operations across study documentation, eCOA workflows, central-rater scheduling, study metrics, user training, system testing, and communication with clients, sites, and study teams.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate study documents and eCOA data-collection workflows and monitor key study metrics.
Support eCOA implementation, system testing, user training, deployment, and issue troubleshooting.
Schedule and monitor central-rater appointments and support data quality and compliance activities.
Prepare meeting materials and status reports and help monitor study timelines, deliverables, risks, and action items.
Serve as a liaison among sites, central raters, clients, and internal teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences or a related field.
Relevant clinical research experience with exposure to eCOA platforms or electronic data collection.
Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and applicable U.S. regulatory requirements.
Strong organization, communication, technology, and problem-solving skills.

Clinical Consultants
Clinical consultants may support a mix of clinical assessments and rating, rater training, clinical and data review, and advisory activities across CNS clinical trials.
